Ethnic Minority Support Project


BCRC assists people from Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities throughout the Causeway Coast and Glen’s borough through:
  • ESOL & Conversational English Classes
  • Drop-in service for BAME individuals and groups supporting Integration needs, eg: Family needs, Employment, Benefits, Housing, Health & Education
  • Drop-in service Bi-lingual Mental Health Support and the Listening Ear service
  • Intercultural Competency workshops and Shared Culture initiatives developing capacity and  building respect for all cultures within the community
  • Celebrating cultures and homeland traditions & meeting new people through Intercultural events
  • Safe Space Service for reporting Hate Crime and supporting victims of Hate crime
  • Support for BAME groups and volunteering with the BAME community
  • Shared Housing support for BAME and housing associations
  • EUSS Locality Hub – BCRC is Causeway Coast & Glens centre for Free and confidential advice to anyone who wants to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS)
  • Globetrotters Summer Camp exploring the rich diversity of cultures in our area
