We were so well cared for. There were delicious lunches as well as welcoming fruit and pastries on arrival. Our physical needs were met quietly and beautifully as well as our spiritual needs.
The various activities which we undertook between more serious listening to each other were varied and in groups, so we all mixed around.
A commitment made from the start not to question any individual in the group about personal information they had shared created total security, which was key. The promise was made not to comment on individual sharing, both inside and beyond the room. So trust was created.
Everyone was so different and so lovely. Bonds were created.
If I had to choose single words to describe the experience we shared they would be :
Empathy…trust….creativity…..empowerment.
